Justin is doing a fantastic job for us Custom Car enthusiasts.
I was looking forward to the new issue for a long time. Especially after I heard he had interviewed Johnny Zaro for the new issue.

The interview and photos with Johnny Zaro alone is worth the price of this book. Very interesting read, and Johnny's Photo album is amazing.

Justin has also been able to shoot some Custom Cars that we have not seen all that much on the internet, or in other magazines... and amazing talent these days.

If you like CUstom Cars... this one is a must have!

Al Andril and Johnny Zaro with their near identical Barris 1940 Mercury's
from the Johnny Zaro Photo album.

Both books are black and white photos only..Colour is very important as that can make or break a nice looking custom, besides, its part of the culture, so why b/w only?
    Won't be buying.

This is one of the koolest aspects of the book. If you will remember the old Trend
books, they were all done in black and white. If you don't remember them, (a must
buy for all kustom fans, great resource for ideas.) then you will not get what he is
    trying to recreate.

The book is more about profile then color. You won't miss it.

    Happy Trails, Mick

Justin Kudolla - the publisher - has been sharing some of the photos he scanned from the Gerald Twamley interview/photo album (2009 Annual) and the Johnny Zaro interview/photo album (2012 Annual) but that did not make it into the final lay-out of the book with us.

Justin is just a really great guy, and his love for custom cars shows in these two books he published. As a Custom Car myself I can not say enough about projects like this that promote the beauty of Custom Cars.
So if you love Custom Cars, support Justin, so that we can see many more of these Annuals, and these really great vintage photo album secrets.

Here are two of them and more can be seen in the BLOG I created on Justin's Books.
