No one likes a sob story, however if thats what it takes to motivate ones passion for custom rods, it needs to be recognised. In July '07 one of my very best friends passed away from a very short battle with Cancer, after only 6 months from being diagnosed. Rodding is an addiction that we both have always shared from the moment we knew eachother, however there is always something that gets in the way - girls (not complaining), houses, jobs etc. After his bad news was delivered, Jay setout to try and accomplish what he could to fulfil his rodding dreams before his turn was out. Although his turn is up, his dream lives on, just means I have quite a bit of work to do for him. I purchased the '60 elc from his folks late last year, and am now looking after it for him, soon to come will hopefully be the '61 Falcon Wagon that he was in the process of building before he got sick and was never well enough to complete. The elc was bought as an easier project for him as his health faded and to give him something to live for. Life is too short my friends, do what you love with your love ....... This is what I love, and luckily enough, so does the wife ...... peace.
