Hi I came across this site 2-3 years ago while searching for information on project Big Olds, which I followed in Rodder's Digest as a 14-year old kid after selling my doodlebug and buying a 48 Olds 2-door sedan project from a friend of my dad's. It had been parked in a barn since the early sixties, and my dad would play in it when he was a kid. All those years later, that's where it was pulled from before ending up with me. Then it sat in the shop for another dozen years. Now I've decided to actually do something with it rather than building it over and over in my head, and want to say thanks, especially to Denise and Sawzall for all the great information I've gleaned. About me: I finally decided I wanted to do something worthwhile with my life a few years ago and bought dad's speed shop, reopened it here in Wisconsin. I grew up in the speed shop, and the best smell in the world is 30-year old grease mixed with hot tank solution. I'll do a history on dad sometime with photos, but for now I'll say he's the reason I have anything to do with this world, and even thought I thought Ed Roth was my hero when I was twelve, it's been my dad all along. Awww. So, that's me. I don't post much, but I'll try to pop in when I can help.
