Hey everyone. Been into workin' on cars for about 6 years now, ever since doing a full rebuild on my friend's 84 Blazer for a school project type deal after my senior year. Totally got me hooked. full engine swap, lots of misc stuff... radiator, driveshaft, an axle, springs, new exhaust, tranny, diff, about 1/2 the body, etc. Good thing I got hooked too, cuz he's crashed it twice, once was pretty much totalled, so we rebuilt it again 2 more times. Anyhow - since I'm kinda broke my saving up for the project car I really wanted, I found something I could afford and get started on sooner... hopefully wind up as a re-sell to get myself something I really can pour my heart into.. (i'd love to chop n' drop a 50's chevy pickup, or have a 50-54 belair or something) So I got myself a '75 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. Not a hot rod, but I consider it a fun semi-classic car to work with., but a TON of engine to play with (the 75's have a 500), and a plenty of exterior work. So I'm excited about it. Anyhow - I figure there's plenty of good information to be found here, and I'd love to share my project along the way (and the ones that'll follow as well), so hopefully I'll have something to contribute.
