Hello from Missouri. My name is Bob and I am stuck here in St. Louis for life. My friend owned a body shop, so when I would get laid off from construction in the winter, I would hang out at his shop and got hooked on street rods. First job was to cut off and replace a roof on a 68 SS El Camino. Since then I have done a 6" chop on a 66 beetle. Helped a buddy blast a 36 Ford coupe and replace floor. Getting ready to chop and channel a 35 Ford truck in time for the HAMB drags. Got a 32 Ford sedan in the works. I am meeting alot of interesting and talented people who are taking me under their wing and showing me that there is a right way and alot of wrong ways. I figured If I need to ask some information from this site, I better step up and introduce myself. I am not sure that I can be of much help but If it is something I have done I will sure offer my assistance.
Thanks for the welcome guys! It seems there are quite a few members from Missouri. I have probably run in to a few of you at the swapmeets and shows. 12 more days till Riverport swapmeet!
