Hi, My name's Dave. This is a great site and I hope at some point to be able to contribute rather than just reap the benefits. I have a couple of car projects going. A very traditional '30 five window, model A frame, 324 Rocket, '39 ******, '40 rear. There's also a '50 Tudor Custom that is getting an SBC, 4 speed, dropped spindles and rear springs. Rack and pinion and a disc kit up front. My running vehicle that I can talk about here is a '63 Triumph T100sc 500cc twin. I did this up about five years ago with lots of custom stuff on it although it's cafe, not chopped. It's a blast. If anyone has experience putting an early Rocket in an A, will I need to modify the firewall other than for the extended bellhousing? How much longer is it than a flathead with bellhousing attached? Anyone have to flop their firewall? I'm asking because the body is going in for R&R this week. The journey begins. Thanks again. Dave
