I've been lurking around for awhile, so I thought I better introduce myself. I'm 32 and I live in San Diego. I have a '53 Chevy coupe sitting in my garage in pieces, where I'm beginning to believe it will remain forever. I'm really into the older, rattier cars, but my mechanical ability is lacking at best. For the most part, I'll just be listening and learning. Maybe if I don't have any mechanical ability, I can at least gain some knowlege. I've been over on the Jockey Journal for about a year doing the same thing. I've worked on my own bikes since I was a teenager, but just like the cars, I usually end up screwing up more than I fix. I guess that's how I'll learn. I have a 2001 Harley Road King that is my main transportation/family car, and I have a Flyrite Bobber.
Hey dude. I saw your post and I just finally signed up today. I'm from PA, but as soon as I sell my property I'm on my way out there. Hopefully by end of Sept. I build hotrods, and would love to exchange some knowledge about cars for some info on S.D. (places to go- car clubs- shows blah blah blah etc. all the stuff you are clueless about for the first 2 years you live somewhere!) I just sold a 53! Nice cars too. Later Gator Jimmy
