Hi all, just joined the board. For a while now I've been wondering wtf people were talking about always mentioning the HAMB on other message boards. I assumed it was some cult. It appears I was right, and I joined right up. I'm Justin, from allentown PA. Im 21, work at autzone (uh oh) and um... well all you guys want to really see are the cars anyway so here they are... Here is my 1949 Styline Deluxe project. I picked it up back in September, and I have not really got to work on it yet because I'm busy with school (sec-ed history major at Kutztown Unniversity). Over x-mas break I hope to get the engine bay in order, and have the engine running in the car even if it has to be jumped off a lawnmower battery and is drawing fuel from a coffee can. Here is my first car, my 1968 Chevelle 300 Deluxe Post car. I didnt know it at the time, but I bought a rare car. Not rare as in.. valuable, just rare as in its impossible to find trim parts for. When I got it the car had the whole "disco" treatment. Jacked up as high as a truck, sidepipes that didnt fit, neon teal paint, pink pinstriping, shag interior. I've um... corrected that. Plans for the 49 are to slam it, paint it satin black, keep the 235 with a manual trans. Plans for the 68 is to make it always louder, and faster.

Very nice intro. Included photos on your first try. Too bad it's in the wrong forum but thats OK cuz you'll get more welcoming responses here on the main board anyway. welcome bud... when i did a post and wrote satan instead of satin paint....well i got a good ribbin out of it... this forum is kinda tricky to get around in at first.. set up is a little diff then others ive been on...just to letcha know,,,,you will proly quit your job if you stay on this site very long... its very addictive.... ive already sold the first born to pay for more internet time...lol.... anywho have fun,,your gonna find some great folk on here.........breeder
