I've been working on my 1939 Plymouth PT81 Pickup for over 20 years. It has been done and re-done at least twice.
This year I rebuilt a 'spare' rear end and am waiting for the show season to end to install it.
I am waiting for a new sector shaft from Len Dawson. I hope this will reduce the slop I have in the steering wheel.
I am also waiting for www.oldparts.com to come back on-line so I can purchase a gas tank sender. They show one for $75. I hope when they return it is the same price.
I've had a great time doing almost all the restoration and have met a lot of real great folks at the car shows.
    Best regards,
