I have been lurking in the shadows for about a year now and have finally found time to sit down for a intro. I am 28 years old from York,PA (The cold part of Hell with all the Camaros). My recent spare time came by way of foot surgery(motorcycle accident). I'm now in my 4th day without tools in my hand and getting shakey. My current rides include a 1962 Impala more door that was my daily driver for a couple of years. A 1955 Chrysler Windsor I just recently got and am prepping for the road. I am also working on a death trap hardtail kawi chop/bob type thing(digger style). Will try to post pics but my files might be to big. E-mail me for pics for now. Looking forward to Latimore Valley show again this year.Hoping for a gathering in York during nsra(2 blocks from my house). Got 6 weeks till I can walk again. So here I sit no tools and hoping to be able to walk in time for Carlisle.
Hey there and welcome! You didn't tell us your name! Do you know Keith (Ol'Scratch) He's from York too and builds bobbers also. He recently joined the HAMB also. Hope your foot feels better soon. Got any pics of your menagerie?
Sorry about the foot, "those are the kicks I guess you win a few you loose a lot." (S.Barger) E-amil me the pics, I'll post 'em for ya. And Welcome The PknBner
Hi Keith...! Broke many body parts years ago and couldn't communicate with other car junkies..., they were at work and the internet was for the "Rich"! Caught up on a lot of soaps though...! Welcome and Happy healing!!!! Mark
I'm originally from Elizabethtown, PA, but living here in the south for a while. There are a few guys from York on here, not to mention the gay So-What boys from Hanover. Welcome to the HAMB, enjoy... -Duck
Hey. We're neighbors. Is the Impala dark green? Used to see a nice more door around town. Small world. I usually drive the primer grey 59 Buick wagon with flames. You were at Latimore last year? That's ScaryLarry's show. Bunch of the people there hang out here. This'll make being a Gimp a little less painful. 6 weeks will be over before ya know it. Happy recovery & welcome to the HAMB. ~ Rob
Sorry to hear about your injury, but you'll have some cool stories to tell the grandkids someday! Welcome!
Welcome, as duck said Iam one of the So- What crew just down the road from you in hanover. Real sorry to hear about the foot dam that sucks. should I be in the garage........SO WHAT
Many people don't recognize Duck without his WW2 Army helmet and bottle of Honey Brown. He's the smiling passenger on page 38 of CKD #10.... Spike

I'm from Hanover, but I'm not cool enough to be in the So-What crew... I go to York a LOT though... Mostly punk shows and/or beer-drinking excursions... I used to work at that HOOTER's shit-hole on 30... I've got a blue-green '66 Rambler American more-door, and i drove it to work all the time... Glad to meet another local guy...

That was in the late 70's so it's a pretty long time ago. I moved to NC in 82 so I've been down here for a while. Trying to make it back up there to visit some relatives, just want to make sure there is something else to do as well.
