Finally able to check back in to this forum. I see that I had joined some years ago, but had lost the ability to check-in or post until now. Some may know me already.........I own VANPELT SALES, which is a vendor of mostly flathead V8 parts. We also sell Y-Block engine parts and of course, transmission parts up through 1962. Since I bought another 57 Ford a few years ago, I wanted to reconnect with the forum for all the good ideas and support provided by guy who also know the 57's. Mine is a basic Custom Tudor (model 70A). Running a 292 V8 with 4 barrel and dual exhaust.

Welcome Mac (and Shelly)!! If some of you here didn't know Mac, his parts, knowledge, and customer service are outstanding.

CD10650F-778C-4CD4-AF96-5BEBB2866DE4.jpeg Welcome back. Also, I just came across some flatheads and parts in the south jersey Craigslist. Posting for anyone interested. Ohio isn’t too far!

You guys asked for pics...........I'm posting two. First is my 57 Custom 300 that I finished in 1976. That car was sold off to help buy my first home. That one had a 292 V8 (4 barrel + dual exhaust + factory 3 speed with Hurst Synchro Lock shifter). Fast forward to 2013 when I bought another one. This one is the base Custom model, also a 292 with 4 barrel and dual exhaust. Trans is a 3 speed with 4th overdrive. Planning to paint the stock wheels the same maroonish body color and put on the dog dish stock caps. It's a fun car to cruise in!
