The intro went to Cyber Space ( Since revised from 3-08-07 the original post, Made it easier to read) Raised in Chicago my first car was a 1950 Olds 88 Club Coupe, Light Gray primer, Red Rim's it had a 4 barrel and intake off a later model, Zephyr gears, Smitty's and a Rake. In a city block, in 1st gear 0-60 Slammed 2ND and hit the brakes at the Stop sign ! 2nd car a 5O Olds 88 Hydro Club Coupe, next 51 Merc and a 52 Ford. Total cost for all $314.95. The Gray primed 88 was the Best ! High Tech ! A blanket on the front seat. When You nailed it,the Rochester 4 Barrel ROARED. When You saw The Flames at night through the holes in the firewall.
