Hi I have 2 1956 ford cars at this tim a 56 mainline 2 door ( wifes family hot rod ) and just pickd up a 56 parklane today. I never paid much attentin to mid 50's fords or y-blocks for that matter ( wife's car has a 289 ) but now it seems more than 1/2 of my car junk is mid 50's ford stuff! Got a 56 f-600 with a warmed over 292 so maybe 56 is my year!
Welcome from So Cal. That wagon looks like a lot of work but should be worth it. Any pictures of the Mainline?
Saw that Park Lane thread on the main board, real glad that you saved it. What are your plans for it?
Well for now I'm just rounding up parts ... but I like the stock color scheme I was thinking mostly stock - 2" lower - and 3 deuces on a y-block
