51, Michigan transplant now living in the St. Louis Missouri area. A former shop rat, I retrained during the first recession of the 80's and went techie. I recently landed my dream gig with a leading enterprise storage vendor and am having the time of my life! Can't say that I miss mitten-land at all, friends and family continue to struggle there. Interests - 'rods, natch, classic bikes, woodworking and tech. I work tech all day and still can't leave it alone at home. I just started my first ever ground-up project. It's a way to keep connected with my 16-year-old disabled son. Thought of doing a bike but he can ride in a 'rod, can't do anything with a bike but look. Junior is my designer, he has full control over color and style elements and picked our first project. I still have final say over function and safety. We're building at T bucket as our first, sourcing the frame and body from Old Dog Hotrods in Maryland Heights, MO and creatively sourcing the rest of it from wherever... Other projects await. I have a '71 BMW resting in pieces that will eventually get built up as an uber-bobber. It's been hanging around for 15 years or so, it won't feel like it's being neglected during our build. Stop by and check out our blog, it's new just like the project and I'm trying hard to keep some interesting content in it. jayzblog.jayzbucketz.com
