Well, I was told that I got into this without introducing myself so here goes. I have been a hot rodder all my life. First car was a 50 Ford business coupe, which my girlfriends cousin gave me a set of shaved heads, cam and duece manifold. From then on until college I was hooked. So after more years than I care to remember I am really hooked again. I currently have a 30 tudor in red primer with flames on the hood about 90% homebuilt and I am in the process of building a 27 lakester out of any old parts I can find. I just want to say that this site is one of the best on the whole internet. I am a do it yourselfer and find the info here of great benefit. I also get a lot of laughs in the process. So ya all keep up the good work.
I am in the Phx area. No pics of the lakester yet, as it is just a pile of parts I am collecting and I don't have a body yet. Looking for a steel or as last resort I may do the mainstreet auto glass (sorry) body.
I like yours too. You guys are just too fast. I saw the horns, but I thought they looked like marker lights and I was going to ask about the future of chrome vertical stacks. Seriously it looks like a great job.
Yes, I usually hit the Fri nighter in Gilbert. Cars in the upholstery shop right now. What are you driving and what cruises do ya hit?
