Hello there.........This whole introduction thing seems a little queer to me, but I've been lurking long enough to know its standard protocol. So here goes!

Live in Boulder Creek California (near Santa Cruz). In my youthful 20's. Been driving my '29 A roadster on '32 rails for about eight years. Collecting parts for a '27 T roadster pickup project (a hillbillyesque***** hauler). And picked up a '57 Chevy pickup last month for more immediate***** hauling needs (Z'd the frame front and rear last weekend so as to look cool while "crap hauling").

I know I'll be able to pick up lots of usefull information here (I allready have), and I hope I've got some to offer. I'll try and post some a couple of pictures but??????????

Flag is a window covering, displayed correct on the outside.
I am a*****in nimrod and only by the grace of god did that first picture come through. I think my problem is the resolution is too high. I took the photos on the cameras lowest setting, then I open them in Paint and save them there. Beyond than I'm lost.

I'm trying to keep my projects in order, so I'll start working on the '27 when the sportster is done. Should only be a month or so.

  19. Welcome...

Damn near perfect proportions on that T!
In fact you seem to have a good eye for all the stuff there.

    Cheers

Yeah Southfork, spring behind the axle.
Plan right now is to run the axle in front of the radiator, and spring behind the radiator. With the cowl and rad. shell lined up there wouldn't be enough room for a decent radiator above the spring so it'll hang down there between 'em.

Body'll sit on the frame, and the frame will angle up at the cowl and start tapering down ending in some spindly little frame horns over the axle. I'm going to cut off the subframe under the bed, and the frame will follow up the curve at the back of the tub up to where the bed is sitting, then along the bottom of the bed. Rear will be supported by parallel leafs.
