ok joined hamb a couple of months o\ago but right after i joined my computer messed up and and nothin would work right.so here i go again my name is chastin im from buler ga. im 15 yrs.old ive been stripin fer bout a year now.i got a '57 chevy 4 dr station wagon i jsut started on.right now itz stripped down to the frame and im bout to start sand blastin it.im doin all the werk mi self .i aint picked out the kolor yet but itz either goen be sweude or metalflake probably sweude w/flames.shaved handles,dropped maybe airride.probably a small blok chevy.lakepipes,wide whites with steelies,and sum more stuff ill keep yall updated on it. im not real good with computesrs so im sorry if i did sumthin wrong. thankya,chastin

 

Welcome youngster! You did everything right. And sounds like your also on the right track. Show us some pics of your project... even if its in pieces, we like those the best! Get stuck?? here we are.

 

Lookslike your keepin' your head above water computerwise.
How about suede with metalflake flames if ya gotta have suede. Or you could jump completely out of the box, and go shiney with a metalflake roof and flames, or scallops, or fades.
You could even go shiney, and and stripe it, then dynamite your stripes and tell everyone its flake. Or...
Endless options here right?

Hey ever thought about metalflaking the whole thing? Thatd definately stand out in a crowd, maybe add a set of wide whites and some astro supremes and youd have something that would not only look cool but time less as well.

 

I wish I had a 57 chevy at 15.

thiz iz mi car the first day i got it. itz kinda ruff .the roker panels are kompletely rusted thru the foor haz a couple of pretty big holes in interior iz rotted.itz been sittin outside since 1970 well thatz the last tag it had on it.but itll look kool when i git done.i wuz thankin bout flakein the hole thang itll stand out around here.but jamies (jw3kool88)car iz flaked and we go to the same skool and all so it wouldnt stand out as muuch.but im snot sure yet . thankya,chastin
