    I am Jackie, was moparjack44 before. I am in Southside Virginia. Halifax, VA.
    My Hot Rod is a 48 DeSoto, engine 1st Gen 392, 727tf ******, 8.25 mopar rear, 3:23 gear. A truly driver, AC, PS, Disc brakes, Nova clip. Not a show car, not a race car, a driver. Built it 21 years ago, I am 80 years young, retired, an 20240830_102719.jpg army Veteran.

    Welcome Jackie. Thank you for your service. Car sounds like a fun ride. The folks here won't allow much discussion on clipped front ends. It doesn't fit the early vibe here. Everything else sounds good!

    I'm retired Navy and used to attend races down at VIR near Danville.

    Never could figure out how to post pictures, so I reupped with my cell phone.
    Often when seeking advise, I was ask to post pictures, which I completely understand and respect.
    I read somewhere that a picture is worth a 1000 words. I believe that to be true

    Two year college degree in Auto Tech and then I got #6 in the draft lottery ( the only one I have Ever come close to “winning”)!

    Tried it, did not work for me, BUT, I am very computer challenged. He'll, when I was in high school we had manual typewriters.

    You could do what I do when stumped by smart phone I hand it to one of the grandkids and say the magic words. ”Please fix grandpas phone” and just like that my problem is solved lol

    it doesn’t matter to me if you want to use the new user name. But you’re only allowed one per person here. Which one would you prefer to keep?
