the current plan is to finish the body work, drop it on an s-10 longbed frame, full air-ride suspension, 350motor with 700r4 tranny, and keep the retro rod look, with black prime, and some painted rallies, with baby moons !!! [IMG]

  9. Is there sumthin wrong with the exhisting frame? 350 should be good and reliable. Hope it turns out kickass for ya.

nothing wrong with the current frame, just looking for something a little diffierent, a much lower stance, disc brakes, better handling, and all the comforts of a newer truck... don't take that the wrong way, but i can't see a single downfall with the s-10 frame

hey, appreciate all the warm and fuzzies !!! and by the way, hell is where i live everyday, this can't be that bad !!!

  13. Good intro 'cept what you do for a living...student?
The panel is pure beauty on 4 wheels....not too presumptuous and yet with a hint of mystery.....very sexy. A nice change from all those mainstream International panels we all see everywhere......
A chevy motor would be ok but I'd be looking around for an old 440 from a late 60's, early 70's mopar barge if it was mine, which it ain't but I'm just sayin, that's all.

sorry different guy !!! the truck is still around, but iam a new owner, and it is defiantely getting something done to it !!!

  22. Welcome and that looks like the makins of a nice ride, I am with the 440 and eventually add a 6 pack to it. That would put fear into the hearts of the masses when it is pawing and pounding the ground. Chop it, custom grill, french the lights, radius the wheel wells. You get the idea. Please don't sell any more of them damn spinners. Only fagots run spinners.

I had the chance to buy that truck long before the motor blew in it but I was in my stupid mini truck phase. The last time I saw it the guy had big plans for it and didn't want to sell it. It's a cool project but it screams big block mopar! Good luck.
