The person- My name is Eric. I have a wife and 2 kids. I work at Panavision in Woodland Hills, CA. We manufacture and rent motion picture cameras.
My background- I've been into 4 wheel drive trucks for about 11 years. I've followed traditional kustoms and rods for about 5 years. I also ride dirt bikes.
The car- 1959 Ford 2 dr. custom 300. Lowered 6 inches, nosed and decked, WWW's. The car I bought in April from ZIBO's friend Rick (its actually his lady's car). Motor is a 223 with a 3 speed on the floor.
The HAMB- I've been lurking here for about a year and a half. This board is way better than some of the 4x4 boards I've been signed up to. I bought 2 calenders and will be getting 2 more. Keep up the great work. Unfortunley I can only learn, I don't have much to give. I should be at the Primer Nationals, but with out the car (Mom's b-day also, can't hang around to long).

Welcome, and great job on the intro.

I wasn't so smart. I tried to jump right in without lurking to find out about the "intro" thing.

I got busted by the Intro Police in short order.

You are right. this is a great board compared to some others I have been on.

Welcome....anybody that has the cajones to actually drive a 59 ford has a congrats from me. I've see one mild custom I liked. Rodger Ward from Kansas painted his 59 2 door Ranch wagon red and black with polished Americans and it looked pretty good...

Thanks for the welcome. I will try and get some pics on here soon. I just need to figure out how.
Yeah your kind of right with the 59 ford's, they are kind of ugly(but they grow on you if done right).
I've been to the autospa twice with the car. I hope to make the next one.
Just got back from the Primer Nationals. If i could get signed up on a host site, I will try and get the pics up(about 65 pics).
    Thanks again.

Hey, '59Ford, welcome to the HAMB! Nice shots, yer gettin' me all nostalgic 'n stuff; I drove a '59 Ranch Wagon back in my undergrad days.

FWIW, contemporary auto reveiwers praised Ford's styling for 1959; although it didn't take long to look out of date compared to the early '60's designs. I still like that big grinning front end!
