Lumpy Lumpy Lumpy!!! 'Bout time you showed up here. Better hurry the hell up if you are gonna have somthin together for the Drags... By the way, we fucked up the Model A motor last year....Block and crank are at the machine shop... See ya, -Abone.
Lumpy! Great name. Didn't "Lumpy" on Leave it to Beaver have a nice 40 deluxe coupe? I think so. Welcome from a guy that just lives "up the road a piece", literally.[Omaha] Post a photo or 2 of your Model A and if you need photo resizing help, just e-mail me the photos and I'll resize 'em for you....... Frank Bank played Lumpy. He drove a 40 convert in the show. He also was a hot rodder had a fast Corvette and the movie Hollywood Knights was written around his car club in Calif. Welcome from Alabama..
the A is still in that shape but not for long soon to be fast and fenderless with a 3 or 4 inch chop with a smaal block chevy maybe a 283 with a small journal crank the scoot is a twin cam i know i know but at the time its all the bank would dole out money for and it still good for money when needed its a springer with a fat cat rear fender soild rear wheel shortend fender struts lowered 2" all around it looks black but is acutally black base with a ton of green pearl with a pin up on the tank im 6'4" 240lbs so it still looks small under me any way thanks for the welcome
Nice Intro Lumpy, I lived in Olathe KS before moving to the Sunshine State. Keep us posted on the progress of the "A".
