Although seemingly in the minority, one should be cognizant that there are a mul***ude present with vast linguistic and itellectual prowess. However, the desire to express oneself in such a manner is greeted with a high degree of trepidation...

Cause it freakin cuts into da street-cred bigtime, yo!

And no $100k Philosophy degree can bring THAT back....

Those H2's start out ***-ugly, but that one got made quite nice!

A hot rodder that not only can spell, capitalize and punctuate, but can fabricate and has a sense of humor! I bet you enunciate your words properly too.

Not to sound, like...totally insensitive to the various applications of urban patois and the corresponding clothing and jewelry fashions that are attendant to such...colloqiualism...

But let me suggest that the term "yo!" probably has a lesser cons***uency in this forum then say in...oh, any forum that thinks that the fact that the shadow of J-Lo's *** weighs 20 pounds is "hella tight"...

In other words...I'll pick weld beads over medallions ANYTIME, as regards "credibility! [IMG] And I'm gonna stick with being polysyllabic, at least until I memorize my "Sinatra-speak" booklet !

Reading that last post made my head hurt. Please, for the love of god, dumb it back down before someone's head blows up.

Dollabill, I still have one of your stickers on my ice chest... How long did you live up there.. we may know some of the same guys, I lived in Renton for about 6 yrs.. but ran around with a lot of car guys from all over the area. (were you into trucks back then or other stuff...)

Actually....I am from there. My cousin, Mike Dermond, is in Lynwood, BIG into the V8 scene, with his pal, Bill Sikes...

Lived in Bremerton for awhile, hung out with the Lindbergs (Punch a Bunch louvers)....one of the sons is the frame-bender at Art Morrison...

...did some work for some guys in Puyallup...a bagged and ground-s****ing '65 Studebaker Commander Wagonaire station wagon, and a beautiful '65 Nova wagon, white over teal...

Did alot of other stuff, too, but those are the only really visible cars I can think of at the moment...BUNCHES of lowriders, but really, after the first juiced '63 Impala, does the next look any different?

Funny thing, I see that Roadsurfer logo fairly frequently....the decal company I used sent out zillions as samples.

I used to travel to Charleston, for work...I remember a greek restaraunt downtown...("Mikes's" ?) and a steak joint a bit north (Beck's?) that had two pound slabs....damnedest thing I ever saw [IMG]
