I've been lurking here for quite awhile and figured I should post an intro (yes, I've read the rules). I registered because there was a post that I thought I could help out on and figured that might on a really rare occasion happen again.

I've grew up around rods and have been going to car shows for as long as I can remember due to my Dad (he's still got a 34 Plymouth he bought before I was born and I'm 30). I've got a 46 Ford tudor sedan that I'm putting together with a LOT of help from my Dad. It is not a traditional rod - mustang2, LT1, Explorer 8.8" rear, etc. My parents own a salvage yard so newer stuff is easier and cheaper for me than period pieces and right now that's the driving factor for me. The one thing I think everyone into cars can agree with is that the stance makes the car and that's what attracted me to this website. So many pics of cool cars with an awesome stance. Hope that suffices for the intro police, I'll be the quiet guy in the corner listening and hopefully learning.
