Thanks man!...Yeah, I'm not worried, I've been down this road before, I'll get it scienced-out, and be back for more! ( first ladder-bar set-up I've really tried to make work...., my coupe doesn't count, I KNEW it didn't work, but hell, it was just a hot rod street car...) This is a bit different, thats for sure. I'm looking at pics to see what its doing, and watching the vids my buddy took...I'm used to leaf-spring and slapper bars! :D
We'll keep playing with suspension, timing, shift points, maybe set the back down a bit more...but, I'm gonna get her fit for competition, and then you'll be seeing a lot more of me! I'll get out there with ya'll soon, I hope...
    Great weather, great weekend...
    Great folks...
Thanks again to everyone who made the show(s)

This was one of the best car events I have ever been at! Everything was perfect! The pictures don't do it justice. The cars that showed up were all sick! All of em', The soundtrack all night long was like out of an old movie. I met more people I would now consider to be great friends in one day than I have in my whole life! I was able to run into a bunch old friends. I had the chance to hold and play with a pocket knife that Von Dutch made, I got to drag race, I got to have a few drinks, I got to watch a hand full of vintage Nitro Funny Cars run! And to top it all off my new girlfriend turns out to be the coolest chick in the world! We left Asbury Park around midnight last night in my Hot Rod with no windows in a rain storm and got back to Albany at 5am. 5 hours in a loud, smelly, wet Hot Rod and every time I looked over at her she was smiling ear to ear! This past weekend was the most fun I have ever had with my car! That is what it's all about. Thanks to everyone that came out to make this all possible.

It was Absolutely Great! Thanks Again to everyone who came out to support this show. Like Jeremy said, The quality of the show was outstanding. Having all the boys out from Burbank was great!! I think we all enjoying watching Mel run through that red light, almost sideswipe that car, and then get pulled over! You cant really ask for a better time then that. So again, thanks to everyone who came out , especially all the Alter Boys for putting in the long drive to the show. see you at the next one.

I would like to thank Mel and his Motor Speedway crew for putting on this event. I can't emphasize enough how this event is one of the most top-notch, kick-ass deals I have ever been to. Every minute of it was an absolute blast! The amount of hard work and valiant effort that has gone into putting this together is just unbelievable. I mean where else can you go hang out with the baddest traditional cars, kick back at a bar built into the old corrugated barn, surrounded by beautiful hand-painted signs and memorabilia, AND RACE YOUR HOT ROD as much as it and you could stand. Every rod and custom at this event kicked ass. The Oilers' cars blew me away. Damn it I wish I lived closer so I could go more often!!

Again, thanks Mel and everyone involved. On top of putting together the venue, you also made it possible to meet the Choppers, something I've been wanting to do for years. They are a cool bunch of guys.

Here are a few photos of us blasting down the Merritt Parkway, hanging out with Choppers and Oilers, etc...

Well we had a blast......EVERYBODY that works and hangs with Mel (Oilers) that put this on are a bunch of friendly great guys. Got to run the 1/8 a couple times against Myke who in my eyes has one of the best built 3 windows to come out in quite a while.......Mykes car is spot on perfect with attention to detail covered from head to toe. Took a closer look at Phlip's roadster pu with the hot banger and was checking out his Pop's real nice deuce sedan as well. Anybody that got to see that unchopped channeled purple Model A coupe make a pass was cool as well and the Hemi sounded great. All and all awesome time.
