I've still got a drip out of my line lock on the Henry J under hard pressure, tightened it, loosened it, re-tightened it, took the adapter out and teflon taped it, damn thing is driving me crazy.

 

Those little brake fluid drips are such a pain in the ass. I feel your pain, have been there to many times.

 

Been there too ! You actually helped me stop mine from leaking !

 

Bratton's repro hardware is excellent quality and only an hour's drive away.

I just saw the thread from page 1, 2, 3 to 4, then I skipped to the last one because I couldn't resist! But from page number 1 already knew this was an excellent project and very well done with the technique and details of a correct period also. Congrats... The “not-too-wild” phrase made my day...

Stay up Late pass your bedtime
Take a ride for shakedown with no traffic or go up to the Convention center parking lot

Thanks everyone, but gotta fix some issues before venturing beyond the 'hood:

- Check the drag link/pitman arm geometry; the car turns farther right than left.
- Fine tune the adjustable brake proportioning valve.
- Either narrow both brake & gas pedals, or move the brake pedal pad away from the gas pedal. My right foot accidentally stomped on both... twice.
- Lower the seat more for better visibility.
- Tighten the brake light actuator lever.

 

....Not completely sure which pedal pads you are using without looking back in your posts, but someone makes rectangular ones and someone also makes ones (round) with the mounting stud off-set. These can free up some room and avoid the scary hitting both pedals at once scenario.
