    What a great starter. It would need nothing to a little bit of something, to personalize the critter, and make it a fun cruizer. A little "low" is always a great start. For me, the narrow whites look great, kinda makes it a "60's" mild custom right from the git-go. Also, I've always liked '60 ford dog dishes, although I had a '66 with stock caps, and I think it looked just fine....

  5. Beautiful '53--my favorite year of the '52-'54 body style. '53 had the best grille, clean and simple design. What's the third character of your car's serial number which indicates the ***embly plant? My father worked at the Atlanta plant (A code) '52-'82. If by chance it's an Atlanta built car, he leaded the seams on it.
