Excuse the piss poor pictures... My Nikon got hurt and out of the hundred or so shots I have, only a few aren't over exposed. Damnit. Without further a due, here she is...
As I was reading your post on the Revolution I really wondered how you were able to drive it what sounded like your hotrod but from the drags I thought I remembered you saying that you were taking another car for the long haul. What a magnificant present to be introduced to on your arrival. No wonder you couldn't sleep. I lost sleep for a week when my wife bought me the 57 wagon last year. First old car. But to have finished perfection I hope you cant sleep for months!!!
We had to get someone to work, but I wish I would have had the rest of the the day to study the details on your car Ryan. It's astonishing how perfect a job Keith did on your car, I'm jealous. I'll have to try and make it to the Round Up this year so I can take a better look at it.
Congrats Ryan! I am such a NEWB! My opinion shouldn't even rate around here, but you have given me, and so many others, a voice. I was marveling at your vision just a few minutes ago as I read posts dating back to 2003 and saw members joined way before that. Obviously, you're contributions to the rodding world were not lost on the Tardels. I look forward to seeing that car in person at the Nostalgia Drags very soon!
damn ryan, that story had me about cryin!!! how wonderful this world is with folk like that in your life!!!!!car is perfection to say the least!!!! I LOVE HOTRODS AND THE PEOPLE AROUND THEM!!! cant wait for my kids to feel that too!!!!!
Good looking car I can't wait to see it in person You might want to clear that last picture on TJJ with the moderator.
It looks to be the definition of what this place is all about. To get all that in one car, well... Keith had to build the perfect hot rod. He did. Congratulations. JH
Fantastic. So I read your notes on Jalopy Journal. It sounds like he built this car without your knowledge for you? Fantastic. That's a real friend Ryan.
Nice foutain! oh whats that old car in the background! just kidding, Looookin goood!!!! Probably uncalled for from an FNG
It was too GREAT a photo to leave out of the story. Ryan, the coupe looks AWESOME and the story that goes along with it just amazing. I too know the feeling of having such great hot rod friends that they are family more then anything else and mean more to me then any car ever could. When you can mix the two a person is truely blessed. I'm so happy you have the Tardels as friends cuz thats what life is all about family and friends, hot rods are just the icing on the cake of life. Congrats my friend, well deserved.
Ryan, the car is stunning, just like all the rest that Keith has built. It's got to be some sort of gift to be able to turn out such "state of the art' traditional cars one after the other. You now have one of his "gems" to park in your garage and I'm sure it will be well cared for for "the rest of your life". As spectacular as the car is it's also more important to hear that you are tuned into a far better aspect of this hobby/obsession and thats the relationships that evolve and are nutured while participating. Not only will you own the car forever I'm betting your friendship with keith will be every bit as durable. Congratulations, the car couldn't have a better steward. Frank
