Had 4 dealings with Jamco in the last year and a half, all went perfectly.

Glad to hear service is improving and certainly hope we continue to get good reports.

Gotta ask, anybody deal with them lately? They have a great price on leaf springs for my 56 Pontiac wagon and am tempted to order but I know about their issues in the past so holding off.

They should be good to go. Price is hard to beat. Don't pay by check, debit, or cash, use a CC so you can reverse charges if they ultimately fail to ship. That gives you some leverage.

Looking back, probably should have ordered from a domestic supplier, or even a truck shop. There are some things going on in a leaf spring that aren't visible. Get what you pay for. If you're lucky. Truck repair shops can make leaf springs for you (Any U bolt, too) and no shipping charges. One thing that pissed me off about the set I ordered, I asked them beforehand whether the springs had the internal rubber bushings installed and they said no. So I spent a lot of time searching for part #s, rounding up parts up, spending money I didn't need to.

Eaton Detroit Spring, they cost more but I think they probably offer a better quality product?

I was just thinking of buying a set of 2" wide lowering blocks from them, I ***ume they are no longer an alliance vendor? I was hoping to support someone who was.

I will check with a local shop and see what they can do. I hate to admit it but I am having to accept I'm getting older and the idea of switching them out on my back in the driveway is not too exciting vs saving a few bucks anymore. Shoot it cant be cheap to ship them heavy ****ers.
