Hello, Fishermantim here. I've been on this forum since august 2011. This is my first attempt at posting. I have an early 50 f1 pickup and a 51 panel truck. I would like to have at least one of them driveable before I'm too old to enjoy them. I'm really lacking in knowledge and tools to get them in running condition. I've had them for years and have collected parts for both. My intentions were to hot rod the pickup and to have the panel stock. I know I was too premature at tearing down and dismantling parts. I should have waited until I had a concrete plan and budget. I have had fun dismantling the 51 v8 though. My boat and honey do projects have kept me busy during the summer. I still have the honey do project to finish. That is remodeling the old kitchen into a formal dining room. I'm past the plumbing , electrical, drywall and texturing and paint. Next is the floor covering and lighting. Then back to the flathead project.
