1952-59 Ford Introduction

Discussion in 'Off Topic Hot Rods & Customs' started by Rockabillykat666, May 18, 2010.

  1. I hail from Western Pennsylvania.. I'm a member of the Drifters CC Pittsburgh. Play guitar for the band the Legendary Hucklebucks and i have 2 1955 fords. My baby is my 55 Fairlane. she has a 351w and AOD ******. been driving her for a couple years and slowly starting to redo things the "right" way on her.. this winter i'll begin my big project of a body swap. my other 55 is a customline 2 door and i'd like to put the body on the fairlanes frame. my girlfriend also has a 1955 ford ranch wagon, 2 door with stock 223 I6. needs body work but runs like a champ.

Welcome aboard.... I can see if the "social Club" ever gets together we have entertainment!!!! I have always thought I could sing but my wife says it's a good way to keep stray animals out of the yard...
This group is the best of knowledege on these cars, great bunch of guys and gals. Don't be shy here, we all learn from one another. Check out the great picture albums with our members.

Welcome from a fellow Pennsylvanian. I was out to your show with a vendor a few years back. Good times and I don't think we were ever treated better at a car show! Do you still have the guy on the barbeque with the mexican wrestling mask and pit bike? He was a trip!

  14. Was it a Steeltown Shakedown show? back in the day we used to put on a few cruises each year but recently we just do one huge one every september. check out drifterscc.com for pictures of past shows and some videos

I think it was the Steeltown Shakedown. I'm not sure, it was probably 3 or 4 years ago. All the shows and years blend altogether. I do know I have a support shirt and you guys were all real nice to us. So, maybe I'll try to make it out there again one of these years.
