I have been a registered member for a while and have been reading posts but have not yet filled you in on who I am. I live in the St. Louis metro area and am interested in older hotrod style cars. I have a '50 Merc 2-door with a 276 inch built flathead. I am now working on getting my '26 on '32 frame roadster back together after paint and chrome. It is also flathead powered. Professionally I rebuild flathead motors and transmissions, do work on antique cars, hotrods, vintage motorcycles and whatever walks in the door. I do work for some local engineers who are involved in prototype development. I have a mig, tig, an old 16" Southbend lathe , a cnc bed mill, and just recently an english wheel. I like to make parts for my cars that are one-offs, rather than 1-800 parts.
