Been lurking this site for a while and enjoy it very much. Decided I should just jump on board. Been into rods and customs for a number of years - especially 49-51 Mercs. Buy and sell Mercs constantly and love em. Currently building a 50 Merc - chopped top.

Welcome to the HAMB. I just spent a weekend in Grinnell. The Iowa Transportation Museum, located in the old Spaulding Automobile factory looks like it will be very good when it opens and I read they've recently acquired what's left of the only Spaulding known to exist-a 1913 model. Now there's a one-off rod possibility.

 

I bought a sprint car from***** Morris in LeMars....he had the Chevy dealership there.

My company just merged with a company in Orange City. I expect I will be making the trip to the "OC" at least a couple times this year. I'll look you up and say HI.
