  4. costs to rent the Woodstock fairgrounds were getting crazy,...the show is moving to the Mississippi Fairgrounds in Davenport, Iowa the first weekend in October.
It's a nice fairgrounds and there are plenty motels & restuarants close by.

Jamoke, the Iron Invasion is going to be held in Davenport IA, not Debuque IA. The Vintage Torquefest has not ever been held in Davenport IA. Davenport is roughly 80 miles south of Debuque. You will want to do a google search for the best way to get there.

Its been years since I've been to the fairgrounds in Davenport, back then it was a nice place, I suspect it still is. Gene

  9. The black hawk chapter of the antique motorcycle club of america holds the largest antique bike event there every labor day weekend. I have been there many times. It's a nice facility.

Living in the people's republic of Illinois this was by far my favorite show. Sad to see it gone but I don't blame them. It's become very difficult to function in Illinois, people are leaving this state in record numbers.

  13. You are mostly correct. We are now the Chief Blackhawk Antique Motorcycle Club. I am a member. We are no longer affiliated with the Antique Motorcycle Club of America. We split off from the AMCA about 10 years ago. Unfortunately, we have canceled our swap meet this year due to the $&@“#%! virus. That being said, the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds is a beautiful venue and will be perfect.

  14. I got out of the Amazon when they got involved with the museum. It's been about 10 plus years since I have fone anything amca related. I was the president of the badger heritage chapter.

  15. ...The Davenport Fairgrounds is a very nice fairgrounds, I think much nicer than Dubuque or even Woodstock....been to many shows there, always like going to that venue.
...if you go, you gotta check out the roof over the grandstand seats, it's a work of art.
...also heard there were 2 new buildings put up recently.
swap spaces are $40 for a 10X20, all car related parts are acceptable,..bikes, mini bikes, motorcycles,.etc.
