Just saw on National Speed Sport News site that a new group has leased Irwindale - no idea as to the length of the lease - so it will continue to operate for the foreseeable future.
It's a 2-year lease. New lease holder but most of the current track people will still be there. I sure hope Turkey Night would go back to Irwindale. The track is a fantastic venue. I also hope a reasonably full 2018 racing schedule can be produced, as well as non-racing events (such as concerts) that will help pay the bills. This is fantastic news. Let's go racing!
