People have been arguing on whether or not 32 ford parts are worth it since wayyyy before I was born. This is a no brainer.

This car was on Ebay for awhile and stated that a ***le was available for an extra cost. I agree with the group that it is a preety good deal. I have a soft spot for 32 sedans.

Sorry but I dont think this is the smoking deal that you short pockets are all crowing about. It 's really easy to spend somebody elses money because you wont have the buyers remorse when it comes home. From the picture, this thing has no wood, missing the cowl vent, the header panel, the doors looked to be stripped of latches and regulators, looks like the qtr window riser panels are missing. Yes it doesnt appear to be too rusty which is a big plus but there are a couple bullet holes and no idea of the condition of the door hinges. I think the condition of the frame and the ***le issue is the deal maker. Now days with the exception of a few states ***les are a big problem, does it have one because there are no serial numbers on a body to use on a bill of sale? Is $10.5 a fair price? it depends on what your economic position in life is plus what you have for spare parts around the house and what you can purchase for say another $5 for $15G..

If you take this car and add up all that you need to get it standing tall there is probably another $ 2-3G worth of parts plus a ch***is parts. Do I think it a good deal, well if I wanted a tudor and was close by I probably go look at it in person and check it out really well. Then add up replacement costs of what was missing and weight that against what style of car you wanted to build to make a decision based upon your budget.

Everyone has a story and I know of a really nice 32 sedan body only that went for $10K a couple of years ago. Seems to me to be a fair deal if the ch***is is any good and particularly if a ***le is included. Look at what guys want for just the window garnish set if you can even find any. I may be wrong but I don't think there are repro steel sedan bodies yet.

LOGIC has been spoken. If thats what you REALLY want than it seems like an okay deal. If this isnt what you really want I would think about it for awhile and look around.

I would say buy it if you are looking for a deuce. I stretched my wallet when I bought mine and I've never regreted it one minute. Nothing else is a 32 and there won't ever be. Like I've always said,"If it's not steel,it's not real, and if you don't have a deuce , you don't have squat!' Just my humble opinion, but I'm right.

$10.5K doesn't sound cheap, but if it's what you want, and you can still afford to eat and send the kids to school, go for it.
You can always sell it for about the same later if you change your mind.

thank you guys very much for the replies. I decided to go for it earlier today. I saw a few people mention Brookville options. I have heard second hand from numerous people that Brookville has no intentions of ever building a 32' tudor reproduction body. the curves on the back would be very difficult and supposedly they do not think they could sell enough at a high enough price to ever break-even from the tooling expenses.

many thanks for all of the advice and insight.

  26. A good deal-death -and taxes waits on no man.........
study hard .....consider -re consider -ask you uncle -ask your neighbor.....hell,ask your wife-
BUT DONT ASK someone who has their quota of 32' fords-they wont buy one unless its TOO CHEAP.
then run down to Wal Mart an see if they handle em any cheaper.
that car is priced right ,....thats not a model A.
Seen a lot of these and this one stacks up very well.

    X2 !!

There are two things you will regret...
    the old cars you sold,
the old cars you didn't buy.

An oh yes... the real estate......

he knew what he had yeah, it was restored stock in the 70s and was his first car, that he drove to high school. didn't really want to let it go, but didn't want to let it sit in his driveway and rot away. It's in good hands now, waiting its turn to be a very mild early hot rod. We put juice brakes in it, and lowered front spring. Might hop up the 4 banger a bit.

Glad you bought it. Remember that the perfect body's right door has an original factory optional bullet hole!

I think you made a sound choice and you should be able to get your money back if you get in a bind. Not a great price but fair. Keep us updated with your progress!

I am wondering why would a ***le cost extra? If the numbers match the frame whats it worth to him? Or was it a "Historical doc"
