The CARS & PARTS SPRINGFIELD SWAP MEET is this weekend. NOTE that it is Friday and Saturday, NOT Sunday. Weather is supposed to be clear and sunny on Saturday. If any other HAMB members are going, let me know, please.

Winds were strong and bitter cold today. Several vendors apparently called and said they decided to wait and arrive Saturday morning, due to the weather. I set up a booth indoors, and sold quite a bit of junk that had been lying around on shelves in my shop.

I tended to stay indoors with my for-sale junk all day, keeping out of that darn cold wind. But I did snap a few pix. I will try to upload now:

One of the first vendors to arrive in the morning was selling Model T Ford stuff, including this very-complete 1921 Model T roadster. It was covered in surface rust, with not a spec of paint on it anywhere. But no rust holes either. It seemed very complete, but needed everything. I THINK the price was $6,500. By mid-day when I went outside to get a burger, it was sold.

At the end of the day when the sun was low on the horizon, I covered up my stuff and headed for home. Shoppers were gone by then, but I counted about 60 vehicles in the car corral. (Sorry for poor photo. Sun was in my face).

I will make an honest effort to get outdoors and snap some more shots tomorrow. Hopefully that bitter cold wind will be gone by then!

Not even going to go,I know the parts I need are at a local junkyard so I will be there instead and going to check out one I never knew existed. I love going to swapmeets but when there is a need for a part and I know where it is I will go there first.

Saturday was much better weatherwise and I found a few items I needed but overall there just wasn`t much there.
Still gotta go just in case.
