Is it ok to mount split bones upside down..

    I was wondering it its ok to mount them upside down with the welds facing up. I want to do this for steering arm clearance.

    Sure you can.....but your going to have ta pie cut the 'bones to get yer caster back....

    Will probably throw your caster way off.

    What year do you have? A thru 34 hang low, while 35 and up hang high.

    I hope you can because I did. And I did the pie cut to correct my caster. Actually don't have the caster set just yet, so I haven't welded them up yet.

    You can also relocated the other end,
    where it attaches to the frame,to get the Caster where it should be.

    Depending on which year wishbone and how much caster you want you could very well end up with some low mounting points without pie cutting. Might even be below scrub-line or underneath driving surface in some instances.
