Thanks, dude. I hope that makes my bidding go ****-****. [IMG]

Looks like I cashed out just in time - right before everyone starts on their Bleedster clone with Slazzen's $160 posts.

To cool, any contact info for the guys repopping them. I'm not ready for them by any means but still might get a set while they're still available.

Don't get shook Grim. You're already bid enough to get us both a set of repops. Well almost. [IMG] [IMG]

I'm good. I just felt it could have been handled with a little more tact and style. I build my car deal to deal like lots of others here and I know for a fact that this board sees a lot of traffic...lots of lurkers. That information could have just as easily been p***ed along after my auction was over. Instead I get a stomp in the nuts with three hours left. I just didn't see the point...but there's more to this story than the casual observer knows.

I'm fine. My car will be built. I've been very fortunate so far and I intend to p*** that along.

I think I only paid $75 for mine.......
The repops I have seen aren't as cool as the old ones. The ones I have are chrome plated br***.

Most of them have extra support brackets that would make them goofy on hot rods. Those ones Grim is selling, as the Bleedster ones work perfect because they are small and simple.

Compared to the prices of the ***gy new Duvall and Hallock windshields, paying $300 for a VINTAGE set of boat windshield brackets is still pretty cheap......

  13. I have posted them before even hooked a few hambers up with some sorry i was only trying to be helpful since you only got one set. The ones i am taliking about are super quality made by english bros. foundry. The guy in sac uses them on his repop chris craft boats he sells for over 100k and they are cast in bronze. The ones in concord are polished aluminum very nice both are the same style as grims .I had a set on my roadster and was very happy with them here is the guy that makes the aluminum ones e-mail Ragtop40@aol.com
