Is there a Buick Nailhead Alternator bracket for low-mount?

    For those that may have interest on how I built my low-mount alternator mounting, here goes. Now please know that I did this 16 years ago (when I was 49) and the pictures were with my very first digital camera, I do apologize for the poor quality, but hopefully you will see the vision.
    I made 2 versions of the bracket, the first I was not happy with.

    The second version here worked perfectly in all ways. I constructed it out of 1/4" plate, as strength was of upmost importance so as to eliminate all deflection and vibration.

    The mount I designed to attach to the motor mount boss area, using the top 2 and the forward bottom bolts. Since I was fabricating custom engine mounts for the block and of course the chassis, there was no issues.

    Thanks for that @AHotRod, I missed your post back in August and just found it while searching for another. I think your alternator is sitting where my engine mount heads forward to pick up the mount on the chassis. Will check it out when I head back out to the shed in a minute. Now looking at a smaller unit mounted in the original location. Thanks for posting your pics.
