  6. Well I went and revisited my gm teal from the 90s issue. Honestly it wasn’t the color as much as the car it was on. Then I remembered spraying a ride that color for a relative. Probably 27 years ago. The truck was “ready to spray”. Well after several evenings getting it ready I shot the truck.
Then I remembered I installed one of those Sir Michael’s tailgate skins. on this particular ride.
I got a nice push mower out of the dealo_O
So maybe this was my issue with the color.

so I guess I located the source of the disdain.

we’re all good now and I still have the mower.

I’ve sprayed so much white on construction machinery over the years, I ‘be experienced snow blindness when laying out the gloss. 9 gallons of mix through a pressure pot per unit. We have also had several white cars, trucks and minivans. I just prefer color now.

I can't imagine painting a car John Deere green. Does anyone have a picture of anything other than a John Deere painted that color?

That looks better than I would have imagined. Still wouldn't paint a car that color.

Mulberry . Just look at it and go figure and then guys try to hide it's ugliness by painting the fenders black and throwing a black wrap stripe around the body . To that I say , " Nice try ! "

I don't think they sell John Deere Green here in California . It's environmentally unsafe .

  15. Yellow, unless the car originally came that color...like an o/t 70 Boss

Surprised no one mentioned baby blue, esp that awful VW version...I'm ok if it was original like on a early 50's GM

Rustoleum hunter green is never on my list

    Finally: pastel pink!

Goes back to the colors available back then, too many teal and salmon SR's scarred my retinas back in the 90's....remember with the neon heartbeat stripes...ugh

    Personally I can’t stand red.
Opinion or not I’ll not be moved from it.
No resale red exteriors and most definitely no lipstick red interiors.
    And definitely no red wheels.

You need to get with Sheldon on TBBT. I think he came up with a worm hole generator in one episode.

  21. I lean toward black, it just looks good on old cars.

A few black rides I have owned.

  24. It was the nicest car I ever had but nobody wanted a yellow car for some weird reason. I am sure it would have sold for more had it been an ugly color.....like pink...

That's not grey it COULD pass for a faux grey this is in the Pastel group of colors . It's got alot of Beige in it . But for me it's too subtle , honestly for me if I can't shoot flames on it it's a nasty color that's just my wild personal preference . Yes nice car beautiful paint does set off with wheels. & running boards but it's a No Depth color . It's like , " I painted my car today " . " Oh that's nice ... "

  29. Green, green racecars are bad luck!

1910, Lee Oldfield was driving a green car in a race at the New York State Fair in Syracuse. His car went off the track and killed several bystanders.

1920, Gaston Chevrolet was killed in a green car in a race in Beverly Hills, California
