Can't you do that yourself? Got a buddy with an unpainted 32? Got a torch?

Truth be told, it will probably need a little tweeking to fit your car exactly anyway, so why not do the whole job yourself? Heat at two hinge points on one end, then push down. Heat at two hinge points on other end, then push down. Step back and see what needs adjustment, reheat, then tweek.

Call Frank at Premier Frame and Body, he has a fixture for dropping '32 light bars.

Any particular reason why it has to be "an original" dropped? It's a lot of work to destroy a gennie part. You can buy a stainless dropped bar from Speedway for $120-I doubt if anybody would drop one for less than that. I made a jig (off a stock bar) several years ago and even split the bar into three pieces so I could chrome the center. Made three and looked at the finishing that remained and threw them in the corner. My car now has a stainless one from Speedway.

Well lets look at it this way.. If the guy wants to drop his original bar then whos to stop him... And I started doing it years ago just for fun. Im not gonna tell you how much i get but i will say your high but then again like i said i do it for fun and i havent filled my tanks for my torches in a while so i could be loosing money :D... Ya know Henry didnt make any gennie steel chopped 32 fords either ...
