Technical Is there a way to identify a B&M torque converter?

    I knew about the later flexplate having a weight, thanks for the explanation about the bolt circle.

    I'm still bolting old transmissions to old engines....
     
  4. The crank bolt pattern is different, so there's no way to mix them up.
    That should make 2 Learnt things , you're good for tomorrow too.

    Ok thank you! That is very helpful info.
    I guess one of the things that was confusing me is that because of the B&M info I didn’t realize the LS bolt circle was different, and didn’t think to check.

    I’ve got a controller I got a while back for it. I can’t remember the name, I’ll get the info after work.
    As I recall it wasn’t cheap, but don’t think it was crazy.
