OK, here's an easier question. If the Model A is a 19" wheel, what is the pattern on it and can I run those with a set of later spindles with some sort of adapter..? Well, maybe it's not really easier............
If I were doing it, I'd prolly have the hubs plugged and re-studded for Model A wheels, more of them available than E**ex and Plymouth!!!. ***uming the brake drums you have will fit inside them......
Sure Root, you can get adapters. I bought some recently. They are so common, I looked thru a lot of websites til I found the best price. That 5 X 5 1/2 bolt pattern was used by Ford from 1928 til about 1987 or so. I got the adapters so I can run Henrys 17" wire wheels. Your choice of Ford wires in that pattern are 16", 17", 18", 19" and 21". Also 15" Chrysler wires and Lincoln steel wheels in the mid 50s

Chrisntx Where did you find your adapters. I want to run some 16in. wires on my roadster and can't find adapters. I have 5x4-1/2 on an 8-inch ford and 5x5-1/2 on my front F-100 drums (which won't work with early wires). Hotwood
