There's usually a topic to show your swap spaces if ya got em. I'm not finding one. If there isn't then go for it here. C2I 117-119
...You must be living under a rock or in Idaho! It's the long running, biggest swap meet, flea market, car corral, antique auto event on the East Coast. Check out AACA/ Hershey Fall Meet. Come East my friend.....
My dad went with a group of AACA guys in his club and he was like “I’m in Heaven and I don’t want to leave!” This was way before smartphones so I had to wait for the pictures to develop @Kmart so I could see too. It’s a bucket list event that I will do if I can ever get caught up on the remainder of the remodel of the old homestead
Im going too, first time so excited im having a hard time sleeping.Leaving here on saturday, plan to get there sometime sunday night. harvey
Here I am wishing I was going... Its a bucket list for me for sure, just a shame its so damn far away....
My ex’es folks live in Harrisburg, I found out it wasn’t too far away. We visited and met before we were married. On the way out I was thinking “Hmnn, fly out and see the in-laws, go to Hershey….” Then I met my soon to be FIL. That was early 90’s, never had the desire to visit again.
I guess I also made a real good impression on them, didn’t even get a “no” for the RSVP. Lol. But like Denzel says “it’s all good baby”
My Parents took their honeymoon in 1975 to the Hershey swap. My mom was underwhelmed by the whole experience.
The last time I took my better half to a swap meet her comment was she had never seen so much crap she had no desire to buy.
Oh , East Coast ! No wonder I never heard of it............. Thank god Ive never been near the east coast,,,, too many people ,, We have a big swap meet in the parking lot at Hanks Doughnut World. .
Same spots as in years past C4J39-42, other HAMB members are next-door. If you have heavy stuff you want to leave in my spot for the day you are welcome to, saves on shopping time. After 54 years in a row the stuff all looks the same now.. Bob .
