  1. hi guys...

i was just wondering if there is any issue running little aircleaners like these ones on a flatty...

im planning on doing one for my motor this weekend. do they have to be a certain height or is any ok? im not sure if they acted like a velocity stack...

as for the pic..it was posted in the show us your flathead post. i hope i havent offended by borrowing...

    Just change oil regularly.

Those "stacks" only filter out bowling balls and large rocks!

thanks for useing it...i'm proud of my vision.they will get screens inside of them, but for most of the time they will see a standard filter...not much dust here, but alot of rain...i like alot of different looks so i'll change those and wheels often [IMG]

  6. thanks to everyone for posting!

i either think too much or not enough...i had planned on putting some mesh inside the stack to act as a crude filter. i have a caddy style cleaner for when its wet or dirty...

delaware george - i really like the look of your engine. mine will most likely be non-ribbed as i dont have the tech know how to machine them.

    thanks everyone once again!

    Hey Rat,

Another hamber is making them up for me...if you like, PM me and I'll send you his details. Mine wont be ribbed, just plain although I'm sure he could make them up.
