    Looks like a 28-29 model a hood to me.

    Measure the length front to back, # of inches = date '28- '29 - '30- '31 louvers play a roll in '32

    another pic. I thought there should be a slight sweep in the bottom but can't tell if there is from the picture.

    32 was the first year for the stainless steel center hood hinge. a big improvement over the Model A design that resulted in chipped paint and rust. Very easy to spot.
     
  9. 32 hood have 20 or 25 louvres

    30/31 hood have 22 louvres and are on a raised panel

    blew up the pic and counted 20 louvers. is it worth $400 in good condition?
