Hot Rods IS this a '39 wheel?? I need the cnter.

    I just put this wheel in my '33 coupe....Im 99% sure its a '39 Ford but wanted to be 100%...

    Does anybody have a center for it they would sell me??

    This is a known 39 wheel with a special after market horn ring and horn button. The horn rod is really a 36 that was shortened to fit a Deuce steering column.:rolleyes::eek: The only thing that matters is that the spokes are splayed when they enter the hub...38-39 only

    The horn button for your wheel is actually a rod that goes all the way through the box. They can be pricey because they are fragile. A broken one is what you want and I just mashed one to be a press fit in the shaft so that the wheel could be removed if necessary.

    This is a 37 only wheel notice that the spokes are straight when they enter the hub and that the spoke separator is pot metal. The 35-36 wheel has a stainless steel rod used as a spoke separator.
