Is this a car bud vase?

Found this in my parent's house while cleaning out. I know mom and dad had it since before I was thought of, so over 50 years old. Dad had said it was a bud vase, but since he's not here any more, can't ask for his help sadly. Cut glass, about 7" long, mouth of vase is about 2.5", has a little handle with approx. .5" diameter hole in center. Thoughts?

 

Looks like it to me. According to this seller it's from a funeral car.
