There are parts of it that I like, but my big questions is is this guy is such a great fabricator (Fab work looks great) Why cant he put a ****ing floor in it?
The front end really kills it big time. It looks "Mad Max-ish". Look at the pic showing the front radius rods. They attach to the frame with a piece of all-thread welded to the radius rod that slips thru a heim. I'm suprised everybody doesn't do it like that
you know i've been stressed out lately about how my modified will turn out in the end. at least now i know it won't be the ugliest car on the planet!!
just think some poor ******* is gona by that thing....and thats a good place for your raidiator hose 1'' off the ground
Totally medieval! This is what happens when Dungeons and Dragons enthusiasts try to build hot rods. I'm surprised it doesn't have a 12 sided die for a shift knob...
NO KIDDIN HEY JOE! I WAS SLIGHTLY RELIVED TO SEE IT'S ONLY A 400, BUT I STILL FELT MOTHER MOPAR SADDEN!
SSS SSS SSS SSS!!!! Now that is fuc#$n' hilarious. I think we should get someone to cast up a whole series of DnD themed shift knobs. Man the possibilities are endless, and we could cross-market them to the Harley/ "Metric V-Twin" crowd to go w/ their wizards and ****. Oh well, to each his own. Dave
Us Brit's love it too , the builder even popped in for a chat http://www.nsra.org.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=22521&whichpage=1
I'm so glad that you guys love my ugly car so much. I am not goth and I hate D&G. A bunch of ***s play that game. I am pretty damn proud that I've riled you all so much.
Which, in turn, references this thread. It's like...we're related, or maybe just really good neighbors.
I know , ain't it cool ? The big wonderful world of hot rods Hilljack , you ain't got me riled , I'm just trying to work out if ; a) You're learning as you're going along and taking on the sensible comments made about where you're going wrong . or b) An opinionated **** who thinks he knows it all . Like I said on the NSRA UK forum , I think the car overall looks fantastic , but its an accident waiting to happen . Take that anyway you like , its just an opinion
I'm enjoying it all and definately taking it all in stride and learning from everything everyone says. I definately don't know it all, I'm rather naive. Most points that everyone makes about the safety of the car could be remedied in a weekend. Except for the horns, but I don't know how good it would fell to get hit by any 2000 pound piece of steel.
