Technical Is this a quick change rear?

    I remember when I was at the Minnesota hot rod folks repair station at the NSRA street rod nationals in Tulsa in 1973 borrowing a torque wrench to torque the head on my 48. Some of those guys were talking about a roadster that they had gone out to do something to when it was stalled that had 1/2 inch electrical conduit with the ends flattened and drilled for 3/8 bolts as radius rods. There was some real shaky stuff running around in those days well before that stuff was deliberately done as rat rod style.
    Back about 25 years ago when the body lifted 4X4 was the hot lick More than one redneck around here decided that he didn't need to spend the money to get a kit at the 4x4 shop and used pipe ******s from the hardware store to do his body lift. That quite often resulted in body shift.

    I just reread this post….no one mentioned it’s a 35…..if it’s a Ford those are parallel leafs ….. nice
